Polar bears inconsistently attack foxes
Polar Bears seem to attack Foxes, but the behavior is very inconsistent
Adult Polar Bears seem to only attack them if they're right next to them, and it usually completely fails because they just play a bugged version of the attack animation that does no damage. Even when it works, they only hit them once and then the fox runs away.
The Polar Bears can't catch them, because they walk very slowly 1 step at a time when chasing foxes.
Baby Polar bears can even chase the Foxes to attack them (walk normally), but then they stop because they have to be near their parents at all times

Also baby polar bears have absurd reach.
This bug has been fixed. Weird, since this isn't even assigned.
I can't see any code changes that would have fixed it (code for polar bears and the AI that specifically has them target foxes are the same between 19w13a and 1.14 prerelease 1).
Well, I tested it and large polar bears can now chase and attack foxes with no problem. You can test for yourself, so we can close this bug
@Pokechu22 Hello, this bug can be closed now
Fixed in 19w14b (was present in 19w14a). I'm guessing it was fixed at the same time
MC-145654was – and interestingly, baby polar bears always worked correctly with foxes; it was only the adults that had issues.
