Hostile mobs moving slow when you're at a higher altitude
(Note, this isn't the same as MC-133.)
When I am at a higher altitude than mobs chasing me (in this case I'm on a 2-high cobblestone wall), they will move very slowly. Once I step off the wall, they will move very quickly to compensate for it. It's much like a very laggy SMP server. The 2nd screenshot was taken about a 1/2 second after falling. So far, I've only observed this to happen on superflat.

Is there any way this could be reopened? This doesn't duplicate
MC-17630. It's caused by moving up and down, more notably flying in Creative (e.g. switch to Survival, attract attention of a few mobs, switch back to Creative, fly). They will make very slow, jittery movements, then when you move down, they take about 5 seconds and go barreling towards you. It isn't a coincidence that it's caused by your Y position. It may just be multiple AIs attempting to find a way to get to me when there is none, and repeatedly failing, therefore causing lag. Also note that this did not happen in 1.4 through 1.5.2. Here's a video showing the glitch: http://youtu.be/AFo55h0lfxU

It's because of lag.
Lag that's caused by moving vertically?
