*What I expected to happen was
I spawned Iron golem but he did not kill the near by monsters
Iron golem does not kill monsters when it was near by
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Spawn Iron golem
2. did not kill monsters
3. Just scan far monsters

I am seeing this behavior on 14w07a as well.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
