MC-5262Items don't always fall through cobwebs
Sometimes when an item falls though cobwebs, it stays 'floating'. (In my case above a wooden pressure plate.)
It should just fall through, because the pressure plate has a fence below it.

From the screenshot provided I can see that the item cannot fall down as the fence connects to nearby blocks.
If the fence didn't connect to nearby blocks (ie If the surrounding blocks were glass) then the item would fall through
It is only floating because the fence is 1.5 blocks tall. It has nothing to do with the cobwebs. Working as intended.
