[1] Yes. But instead of being a 'Something went wrong' error, it throws a 'Please sign into the Microsoft Store' with the same error code.

[7] There isn't really any steps to recreate the issue because of how obscure it is. I installed the Launcher normally like any sane person would. That's it.

Could you try to download the Launcher from the Microsoft Store and see if that helps? There might have been broken installation file on the minecraft.net for few days, so try to download the Launcher from MS Store.

Still fails. Nothing changed other than the error message saying that I needed to login to the Microsoft Store, which I am.
Then please, attach the error screenshot that appears while downloading the Launcher from the Microsoft Store.
