I frequently open/close Minecraft so I enabled "Keep the Launcher open while games are running".
But after leaving the launcher open for about 24 hours sometimes probably a bit longer, when I go back to it the window is just blank, and I have to restart the launcher to open games again.
This behaviour is really annoying in the long run.

Please, attach launcher_log file.
Could you try to reinstall the Launcher? After deleting it, find .minecraft and delete the file - what is important that this file should be deleted from the trash bin, because corrupted files from the old .minecraft file may interract with the newly generated .minecraft file.
Important: Please save your worlds/servers/skins/realms/games etc. before deleting .minecraft file.
