MCL-2397will not load, update, or open game
There is currently no fix for this as this is an actual "problem" with the download servers.
This does not affect clients which are already downloaded and up-to-date.
There is currently not ETA on a fix.
the launcher screen opens but that's about it, it will not let me update past 1.3.11 and it will not open the game anymore when i press play, i recently update my java to make sure that was not out of date, when i press play it has a loading bar for about five seconds and then the loading bar disappears and absolutely nothing happens

I have the exact same problem. I followed the Mod's advise and went to the help page but am unsure on whether they're implying that its the Heartbleed Bug or some simpler malfunction. ?

this is not a duplicate of https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-2398 they get an error message, i don't get anything!
Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.
