Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch has had issues with the marketplace for a while now. For example, some items don't load thumbnails, you can't press the search button or add minecoins unless you use the touch screen, skins don't load, or it displays "We're having issues connecting to the Marketplace right now. Please try again later!".
