I just downloaded the new Minecraft version on IOS, and the first thing I realized was that the new controls were way more at the bottom of the screen than usual, I checked the change log and saw nothing about this change.

There, I have added one which is what it is supposed to look like, and one which my game looks like, sorry for the confusion! ^^
Could you please provide us with more details? What device are you using? Have you tried adjusting the controls with Customize Controls option?
