REALMS-10340Mending has a higher priority on expirience
When killing mobs while holding a mending tool, the experience that is dropped from the mob will not be added to the experience bar, but rather will be taken by the mending tool/armour. This will keep happening until the durability is full or if you use a non mending item
UPDATE: Only one item will be mended at a time if multiple items are damaged

Is this only happening on realms, multiplayer or singleplayer? What plaform/device are you using?

This happens on Bedrock multiplayer realms.
I am on Android and my cousin is having the same issue on an xbox
I can reproduce this but this is a feature not a bug.
Why would this be a feature? Mending hogs up the experience, making it even harder for me to get to level 10. And even so, why is it only doing it on realms?
And does this happen on Java too?
