Nintendo Switch gets "Unable to connect to Realm"
Downloaded the 1.19.81 update on my Nintendo Switch. Bought Nintendo Online Subscription. Bought Minecraft Realm Subscription. Created a new world on the new realm. After a few seconds of "Joining Realm..." screen i get the error screen "Unable to connect to realm. Failed attempting to join realm. Please try again later."
Deleted game. Reinstalled game. Logged into Microsoft account. Same behavior as above.
Steps to reproduce:
- Update to Minecraft version v1.19.81 or install game from scratch
- Get Nintendo Online and Minecraft Realm Subscription
- Create a new realm with a new world (tried even creating a new world locally and replacing realm world with local worlds)
- Join Realm World
Result: Player is returned to Worlds tab screen after a few seconds with the error: Unable to connect to realm. Failed attempting to join realm. Please try again later.
Expected: Switch player should be able to join its own Realm World
