The update claims worlds that are already made will have the new biome but my realm does not. I have tried editing it and reuploading and nothing. My group was excited for this and does not want to start over.

The update claims worlds that are already made will have the new biome but my realm does not. I have tried editing it and reuploading and nothing. My group was excited for this and does not want to start over.
Did you search in unexplored areas? If the terrain is already generated, it won't usually update to include new biomes, so you may have to search a long way from where anyone has been before.
Was the world created using a template, or any add-ons? If so, which ones (name and creator)?
What exactly do you mean by "editing it"?
You might also try temporarily switching to a new world in one of the other realm slots if those are not being used to see if the issue occurs in a brand-new vanilla world, possibly with the same seed as your existing world.
