Failed attempt to join realm
I can't join any realms on Switch or PlayStation 5 and not sure why. The picture attached is the only other thing I get when I'm on either the Switch or PlayStation 5.

What country are you in? Are other people able to join the realm?
Everyone on the realms I play are all in the United States and unfortunately can not get on. We have all tried.
Are there any add-ons in use?
Are you getting messages about downloading packs, etc while trying to join?
If there is an available realm slot, you might see if the owner can create a new vanilla world with no add-ons and check if that one can be joined.
