REALMS-1305Cannot change world difficulty
Changing the world difficulty in settings doesn't affect gameplay. I started in peaceful mode and attempted to change the difficulty to normal mode. While the settings display shows normal mode, the gameplay is still peaceful. No enemy mobs, health regenerates, and no hunger.

you tried in chat /difficulty <peaceful, easy, normal, hard> ?
It registers as a cheat, which isn't allowed in survival with achievements enabled. I figured out that I can change it if I download the realm, change the setting in the downloaded world, and replace the realm with the downloaded version. That's a really long drawn out way to do it though.
