Every time everyone on the realm leaves, it travels back in time to a point earlier in the game. It's gotten to be annoying and an inconvenience.

i just had the same thing happen to me lost alot of progress
Also happened to a player on my Java realm. Lost an hour of work.
Same here, the last save was yesterday at 6pm EST even though we were playing for some hours after that.
