Update to server caused Nether deletion
Today, the server host updated to MC 1.11.2 from 1.10 and they realized that the entire Nether was erased, and in 1.10 there were multiple portals there, but they were erased. Everything disappeared, but the Overworld was fine. I apologize for the server host not reporting, but they are trying to fix what was erased. The nether was already generated BEFORE updating to 1.11.2 but AFTER the update, I went through a nether portal and the Nether began to generate, as if it hadn't existed.

A crash report will not give the correct information on this issue, it was just deleted. I don't have a crash report from pre-1.11.2, so it won't help to have a crash report.
EDIT: We did rebuild the Nether, but it was annoying, since it deleted everything in there.
Is the server a modded server? (i.e. Bukkit, Spigot, ...)
No. Vanilla.
Again, please attach a forced crash report, so we have more information regarding server and pc aspects, which may help finding the issue.
Reporting for someone else who has a server. I don't have much about the pc specs.
The crash report will still provide us with additional info of the server.
It is a server-side issue. If that helps.
Would you possibly need a pre-1.11.2 crash report to look for changes? Because I don't have that.
Just go in the server and force a crash report by pressing F3+C for 10 seconds, that's all it takes, a pre issue report would've helped, but it doesn't matter if you can't provide that.
It isn't currently up, I'll get it later. I feel like this server is the only one affected by it.
