MC-114932If you mine dirt/grass with a pickaxe it sometimes gives you 2 dirt.
When I was mining some dirt with a pickaxe in the new snapshot it sometimes gave me 2 dirt. I couldn't really tell when it does that, just randomly I get 2. I tried it with other tools but it only happened with pickaxes and the material didn't make a difference.

I have a similar issue: When I create a new survival world and mine my first log with the fist, I'll receive 2 logs.
