MC-122787Rails placed to the east or south of curved rails break existing connections
See attached screenshot. Placing a rail on any of the diamond blocks re-orients the existing curved rails. This does not happen if the fourth side of the curved rail is a rail of any shape. I suspect the check whether the curved rail is connected on its ends is looking on the wrong side of the rail.

[Mojang] Georgii GavrichevTo reproduce, build the setup shown in the attached screenshot and break the rail on the diamond block. Observe the curved rail change orientation.
I suspect this bug has the same cause as MC-122787.
