The effects 'Hero of the Village' & 'Bad Omen' cannot be obtained at the same time.
Hero of the village requires the player to be in a village, but bad omen immediately disappears upon entering a village, triggering a raid. Both are currently required for 'How Did We Get Here' but this makes the advancement impossible in survival.

It doesn't. You need to do the following to get hero of the village simultaneously:
To get the "How Did We Get Here" advancement, you now just need to avoid entering a village and get all the other potion effects before the hero of the village effect ends.
How does one simply kill a pillager captain seconds after clearing a raid???
You don't need to kill a pillager captain seconds after clearing a raid. The hero of the village effect lasts 60 minutes.
