MC-159706Bee Nest won't stop filling itself up (And the honey filling sound won't stop playing either)
I was testing out the 19w34a Snapshot and decided to place 4 bee nests on a tree, and place a 5x5 array of campfires around the tree (with the tree in the center of the campfires, so there was only 24). After about 30 seconds they started making rapid noises (the noise they make when they are at max honey level). I wondered what was happening so i tried bottling it (in survival, not creative) and it kept refilling instantly every time I bottled it. (there was an insane amount of honey on the ground, as shown in the attached photo). I did have an offhand item that gave me Luck +1024 when in my offhand, but that did not affect it, as I tested it again 50 blocks away without it in my inventory, and it happened again. I also tested to see if it made infinite honeycombs, and sure enough, it did. Even after breaking the campfires, they refilled constantly. They were on a tree, nothing special. This was about 50 blocks away from spawn, in a plains biome (I spawned in plains)

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I Placed a few hives on a tree, with one bee near it. I did not place anymore campfires underneath it. the same thing is happening. infinite honey, even when campfires aren't present. The sound of honey filling is getting on my nerves now. (I added a new picture)

anyone got any info/help for this?
How did you place the hives? Did you copy one using Ctrl + Pick Block?
No I just placed them normally. Got them out of creative inventory, placed them in creative first, then tested it in survival, and creative again. Happened each time
Did you get a bee nest by using silk touch?
If not, could you please attach the affected (zipped) world file? If the file size is too large, please upload it somewhere else and then link to it here.
So I know this sounds very odd, but I can't seem to replicate the glitch anymore. The honey levels are working perfectly, and silk touching a bee nest has the effect it should: giving you a full nest that, when placed, is still full. I am in the process of trying to figure out what I did to make this happen. I'll update anything I find out in the comments of this thread (Still playing in 19w34a)
Think I just jynxed myself. As soon as I said that I couldn't replicate it, lo and behold it began.
The ones that are constantly making the honey filling noise (rapidly and loudly) are silk touched nests. I waited for them to fill up normally on another tree, then silk touched them in survival, went back into creative, and placed them elsewhere, and a few minutes later they started. there are bees around them. Do you still need the zip file?
No, thanks. With silk touch the NBT is copied as well, basically having the same effect as Ctrl + Pick Block. And if two of the same bee nests exist in the world, the game fails to pop out the bees inside of it continuously. That is covered in
