What I expected to happen was...:
i expected minecart is going on the up rail.
What actually happened was...:
when the minecart came the crossroad, minecart was on the down rail in a moment.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. make rail crossroad like image.
2. Operate a minecart.
3. and see that i talked about.

Duplicates MC-9157 and MC-158169. Is only visual and after a moment moves back to the correct location.
1. That is not only visual. The view becomes strange when you are in that situation while riding in Minecart.
2. The same thing happens in each of the same situations and that's not why you shouldn't fix the bug.
Are you able to confirm this is still the case in 1.16 Release Candidate 1? If so could you please update the "Affected Version/s" field.
Please check if that's still an issue for you in the latest 1.16.4 stable release or the latest 1.17 development snapshot.
