Ok, it was because of the missing "shadow.png.mcmeta" in my texturepack, as Grum mentioned in
MC-17684. Added the file and it works fine now. Would be nice if Mojang would release more information about the new mcmeta files and where you need them, how should texture artists know if this is a Minecraft bug or an issue with the pack?Maybe because it's a snapshot, and any information they released might change in the next snapshot, so it would be wasted effort? It will probably be properly documented once it's more stable, closer to the actual 1.6 release.
