MC-17997Horse "Gelding"
If horse has had armour put on it, when you remove the armour it "gelds" the horse, and even though the horse is not wearing any armor, it is still unable to breed.

Cannot confirm.
Horses have to be tamed and you'll have to sit on the horses for breeding.
I used golden apples to initiate love mode, try removing their armour and then feeding golden apples, also, of my 2, only one was wearing armour
Still no luck.
Horses breed also with golden apples.
Did you wait after a first breeding a cool down time ?
yes, will try to replicate it a third time now
figured out the problem, what i did which managed to replicate it once, then it stopped, it seems like it only does it some times, one of the times it did it was if you leave the armor on, feed both horses, then take the armor off...... cant seem to replicate it a 4th time though.
I removed the "no armor" requirement on breeding
