The bug tracker is not currently accepting bug reports for the 1.18 experimental snapshots please report them on the Reddit Post or Feedback Site
This isn't in the experimental snapshot.
The data pack served the same purpose, it is also outdated now and replaced by the experimental snapshots.
It's not outdated, it's for 1.17.1
The data pack was for testing the new generation, newer versions to test the generation (the experimental snapshots) exist, thus it is outdated. They're not going to fix issues with it.
