physics engine bug?
i made a tnt cannon, i didnt use any mods or commands of any type and i got it to shoot a tnt at 4500 blocks a second, or mach 12, i recently upgraded the cannon and almost tripled the amount of power it has, meaning it should be close to or over Mach 30, but i ran into an issue. As expected the world gets super laggy when it is fired, but this happened with the old mach 12 version as well, but it wasnt an issue because after like 20 secs of letting it all render, the shot tnt would explode, and i put it in a tunnel so i know where it exploded. but with the new version, the tnt goes about 20-30 blocks and just stops. I made the shot tnt explode .1 second after it was shot, the old cannon was able to 450 blocks in .1 second, with the new one i have about 2000-2500 blocks infront of the cannon and the cannon itself all loaded in chunks so its not a chunk loading issue. Is this a bug with the physics engine?

@violin1101 I dont know what other information you would need, l will explain my issue in simpler terms if it will help. I made a tnt cannon that should theoretically shoot a tnt at a speed of mach 30, or over 11,000 blocks a second. but the issue is the tnt just stops as soon as it leaves the barrel of the tnt cannon. i think this is due to a bug in the physics engine. i can reproduce it and if you want i will send you a copy of the world and you can try to shoot the cannon yourself to reproduce it.
