MC-3293Item Stacks dont seperate?

What I expected to happen was...:
The right click button should make drop half or one of the items into seperate stacks
What actually happened was...:
The item remains in one stack, and cannot be seperated, except with very complex procedures.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a stack of items
2. Go in your inventory,chest,crafting table ,etc.
3. Select your item stack and try to seperate them.
Environment
Windows 7.

Do you have a modded Minecraft or vanilla ?
A modifier button is stuck; try manually updating your lwjgl. Problem should be gone after restarting the client too. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL

MC-886regarding stuck keysI'm having this problem as well, with unmodded 1.6 snapshot, and I already tried updating my lwjgl. I'm on a Mac, and holding Control while clicking on a stack of any item does not make it split evenly or allow me to place single items in inventory/crafting slots. Makes it very difficult to craft.
