MC-384531.7.2 Old oak sapling bug
The old oak saplings dont seems to grow properly, both in survival and creative. i have spammed it with bonemeal but it doesnt help. The new acacia tree doesnt have any problem.

Unable to reproduce. Old oak tree sappling grows just fine for me... only clicked 4 times and it grew (see screen shot)

Also unable to reproduce. Check that you have enough room.
If your talking about the roofed oak sapling then you won't get it to work with one sapling as its a 2x2 creation only (no single version). This is the original Oak sapling growth
