MC-41369Water Flow bug
Flowing water behaves strangely.
When I break an ice cube, sometimes it just disappear (when it is in a 1 block hole), sometimes water goes only 2 or 3 blocks away from the source and only in certain directions (not in all directions on 7 blocks).
And sometimes when I place a block for dry a source and remove it, I have odd results like on the pictures below.
Environment
Windows 7 pro 32bits, Java 7.25.

Are high-res textures even supported yet? I call mod invalidity.
Michael, why? HD textures are supported and I never had a bug like that before 1.7.2.
What's the difference?
I realised High res textures ARE supported, I ask because high res textures used to require a third-party mod to use. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So it "works as intended"? Water is supposed to do that?
I would like to know how the "resolved" status is decided.
Sometimes issue reports are closed although bugs are still happen (like horses that still suffocate themselves in walls...).
Can I have an explanaition please?
Basic water mechanics: water flows towards the nearest gap.
Horses suffocating requires reproduction steps.
