Two javaw.exe processes consuming near 100% of CPU
I had this problem back in 1.7.2, and when I updated to 1.7.4 it seemed to be fixed for a while, but it has started happening again.
As I play, performance gets worse and worse, and usually a second javaw.exe process starts taking up more and more of the CPU, which, when added to the original process, usually consumes close to 100% of the cycles eventually. This makes minecraft pretty much unplayable, of course.
I thought maybe it was because I had both 32 and 64-bit versions of Java installed, but I uninstalled 32-bit Java and the problem still occurred.
Back before the 1.7.4 update I posted on the minecraft forums about this problem, and no one there could figure out the problem.
Before I switched from XP to Windows 7 I never had this problem, even in 1.7.2.
Environment
Windows 7 64-bit, up-to-date 64-bit Java, 8 gb ram

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" tab of the launcher.
If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".
Ok I've just discovered that it seems to be world-specific. Here's another world that I play on with my wife - seems to have errors and after a minute or two I'm getting tons of exceptions. The first time I loaded this world I didn't catch it soon enough and it filled the console and I couldn't scroll it or anything; this time I stopped playing as soon as I saw it going crazy. I'm guessing this is the second javaw.exe process that is killing my cpu, cause when I ended it last time my launcher closed.
Is this world corrupted? Any way to fix it? Or is it something else?
Thanks!
Yeah, that world is corrupt. Please take a look at http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/137381-official-corrupted-save-recovery-thread/
