I/O Netty Annoying bug
Minecraft 1.7.2: (1.7.2 isn't listed)
I'm trying to connect to a Bukkit 1.7.2 server (which i know is up because it says 2/10) and it keeps saying
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException.
And it's only one server

MC-32139Oh sorry
i didnt know Bukkit counted as modding

Except, it was a netty issue, does it count anyway?
Perhaps there are some issues with Minecraft servers
The error so the Moderators don't think I'm modding Vanilla MC.
The comment I just made was for the picture I just attached.
I've seen that error show up when java hangs, the server is frozen and won't accept any connections and this is with a unmodded server and client. Just restart the server and it will work until the next time it happens. Its not my server so all I can say is that it running on a Linux box with open java and has something to do with java running out of heap space.
In snapshot 14w07a, I'm having this issue, with the exact same message
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException
At least me and another person on our server can't log in because of this. But we can still see things like server description, how many people are online, and the conncetion seems normal
Thanks

Yeah.
That kinda thing ALWAYS happens to me. The server I'm specifically talking about once had one player, and it NEVER (not in MONTHS, and STILL isnt off!) NEVVERRR came off. Now theres another player on. Oh boy...
A server just went down with the io.netty error, and now its out COMPLETELY. (java.net.ConnectException)
Even the server status thing knows its down now....
