MC-52847Teleporting to an entity makes you face up afterward
I made a portal gun in Minecraft, and, I know, many people have done it before. So my problem here is that, when you teleport, you face up after teleporting.
What I expected to happen was that I would be facing in the same direction as before. I haven't gone fully into testing this yet with teleporting to coordinates or players yet, but I will soon.

Intended. When teleporting to an entity, your rotation tags are set to the ones the entity has.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
