MC-5356Minecraft 1.4.6 menu screen freeze
When I open up the MC launcher, I login and then get to the title screen. Then everything freezes. MC proceeds to take up all my processor power and make my computer run really slow, I basically have to shut it down by ending the process in Task Manager.
I'm going to have to downgrade to 1.4.5 until this is resolved. It works flawlessly.
Environment
Windows XP
Java version 7 (the latest I think)
Computer specs:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz
1 GB of RAM
nVidia GeForce 6200

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report (directory .minecraft/crash-reports ) here.
I held F3 + C for 2 minutes exactly.
No crash, I had to close it through Task Manager again.
Another thing, 1.4.5 and other versions have stopped working. I am beginning to think it might be a problem with my graphics card, since Minecraft and other OpenGL applications are strangely running very slow.
