Clipping errors - holes in the landscape
Clipping problems got worse recently (was better in 1.7.9, but never OK):
There are many holes in the landscape, even in places that are frequently visited. Different players playing at the same time have different holes in the landscape. The missing parts appear very late when walking towards them. Very often there's no landscape to be seen when looking into the distance (e.g. from a mountain).
Environment
Multiplayer Server: Ubuntu 12.04 & Ubuntu 14.04, Open JDK 1.7.0,
"java -Xmx8192M -Xms8192M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui"
Multiplayer Clients:
Open JDK 1.6, Ubuntu 12.04
Java 1.8, Windows 8.1
