MC-56588Baby Chickens spawned with normal eggs underwater won't float back up
When I throw an egg underwater and a baby chicken spawns, it doesn't float back up to the surface and it drowns. Mainly an aesthetic bug, but a bug nonetheless.
Environment
Windows 8.1 64bit, Java 7 Update 55 (32bit), Java 7 Update 51 (64bit)

When they are punched, they move up one block, but continue to not float until punched to the surface.
Duplicate of
MC-9388That states that they surface but still drown. This bug states that the baby chicken won't even surface. "Create a one block water surrounded with two block high walls so they have to swim."
I'm pretty sure these are duplicates, it seems to be the same root problem
