Daylight sensors that activated other things will sometimes not deactivate the activated blocks if you switch the daylight sensor to night setting, and sometimes Minecraft will crash.

Keep in mind that there is a time in the morning and evening where both the inverted and the non inverted daylight sensor are active, also at rainy weather.
