Probably intended, since they are entities.
I would disagree, since the same happened with Item Frames when they were first implemented, yet that was considered unintended and was duly changed.
Does anyone still think ihat this is a bug, or is the community consensous that this is intentional?
Ticket resolved as incomplete, because no answer in a reasonable amount of time (1+ year), if it still happens, please update the ticket.
