MC-66557Boat velocity changes in 14w32b
When you build the boat lift and use it in 14w32b or 1.8+ or 1.9+. It's doesn't work properly. But in the 14w32a or older boat is working properly.

Your first part of the video is from 14w26b which is a number of snapshots until 14w32d.
It would be helpful if you tested each snapshot to see where the speed change occurred so we can verify if Mojang change boat velocity intentionally.
OK! I will test this in minecraft 1.7.10 soon.

You should be testing the snapshots for this specific bug since 1.7.10 will be outdated soon..
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
