oh yes it would be epic if it worked!!
Enchanting Books are supposed to have this behaviour so this is working as intended.
No it would make it 10 times better for adventure maps if they would fix this bug!

Oh yeah. I was trying to do it with level 100. The anvil would not let me, would that be a bug? I used MCEdit to enchant the book. Does that make a difference?
You mean like
MC-11815?The game needs to allow ANY enchantments on an enchanted book to work, not just regular level ones.
