MC-78136Sign Coloured Text
When a sign is placed in a NORTH or SOUTH direction and there is coloured text on it, the text is darkened making it look bad! But if you place the sign in a EAST or WEST direction the text is perfectly fine. See pictures for more detail! (On Singleplayer and Multiplayer!)
By the way, there was a post about this made about 1-2 years ago but never got an answer, I hope you give this a look into.
