When I launch it I hear the music but can't see the game screen.
It worked fine until a week ago. Now when I start up, the launcher begins, I select "Play," the Mojang screen appears, and then it disappears and I hear the music/sound effects for the game but there is no game screen. The Minecraft tab is on the bottom of my desktop screen and it plays music until I force quit.

Could you please attach the console output?
Please attach the complete output of the "Game Output (Your Minecraft name) " which can be found on the fourth tab of the launcher.
If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".
Ok. See attached above.
This says "resolved," but this is not resolved. I can't see the game. Help, please.
Try reinstalling, it's very likely, it's your system.
Also check your Java, really that's the first thing I do before reporting anything.
I did try reinstalling, and I checked Java. What version of Java should I be using?
The last one (Java 8 update 45)
Ok, correct Java is installed and verified. Still nothing. So weird. It's like the game window is hidden but I've dried dragging the mouse around all 4 sides of the monitor and nothing.
Do other versions work?
If not the problems lie in the launcher.
No versions work.
