MC-97883Can't launch old versions of Minecraft? (I said v1.8.9 just so I could report this problem...)
Every time I try to launch a version of Minecraft from either above 0.0.9a, below 0.31, (and also versions in Infdev) the game goes to a black screen, and the game output says this:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Mouse doesn't support native cursors

There will be nothing fixed at old versions.
Hello, I am a Mac user too but when i go into old versions of minecraft, if i click the mouse in minecraft, The screen goes black and I think we'll have to change the mac cursor.
