nevermind, you just have to disconnect and then reconnect, and then it's working
what do you mean by disconnect and then reconnect? log out and log back in?
This is the SAME issue that I am having. Created a gamer tag today for my child, had to go though all the settings with xbox live to make sure it was all "ALLOW" as well as with her microsoft account... Closed everything out, booted the game back up... SAME ERROR. ONLINE PLAY RESTRICTION... there are NO restrictions.
yeah you must log out and log back in, sorry I'm not fluent.
Log out of the game client under settings (not the launcher)
same problem for my Young brother, but disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't work
