Cannot play due to being Online Play restricted error
Some players are getting a 'Cannot play due to being Online Play restricted.' error message when trying to play multiplayer. This could be due to privacy settings however.

Getting a 'Cannot play due to being Online Play restricted.' error message when trying to play multiplayer. Have removed restrictions on the Switch Console and the child privacy settings through microsoft.com.
Not a duplicate of MCD-1140 or MCD-1251 because we do not have the ability to edit Xbox settings when using an MS account and/or Nintendo Switch.

Getting the same error here. I have verified that the account settings in Xbox Live are set according to the link listed above, but we're still seeing the same error.
Thanks for the reply but I have got both join multiplayer and join and create clubs enabled on my son's Xbox account and it still does not work.
Plus, we are trying to play this on the PS4 and I don't remember the game asking us to log in with his Xbox account?
MCD-1756was wrongly linked to this and closed. Minecraft Dungeons multiplayer on PS4 has no connection in settings or anywhere else to any Microsoft Accounts yet you are claiming this problem is fixed by changing our children's Parental Control settings on an unlinked and unrelated XBox Live Account.Can you please re-open
MCD-1756until you have been able to resolve the issue? I know of at least 5-6 of us with children who can't play together on PS4 because of this Privilege Error problem. Local play is fine, single player is fine, multiplayer hasn't worked since it was launched for any of us.
