MCD-1504Game Pass - Able to install on device that is not registered to my account but can't on devices I actually have registered to my MS account
I have xbox live ultimate which includes game pass. Unfortunately I cannot install MCD on either Windows10 or my Xbox One X. It shows up with this message:
It looks like you don’t have any applicable device(s) linked to your Microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account.
This is displayed through the Microsoft store app on Windows10 or on the microsoft.com website. After some investigating, when I check the product page for the console version, I see that I can install the game on my old device that I have unregistered from my Microsoft account but not the actual devices that I have registered to my Microsoft account.
I no longer own the Xbox one S device that is showing on my account that I can install and have previously removed it from my account as a registered device.
I have also checked for other game pass games, my windows 10 pc and xbox one x is in the list of devices that I can install the other games (specific game I checked was Sea of Thieves).

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If it is, please try and include steps to reproduce the issue of possible:
If your ticket does not look like the example given here, then it's likely to be closed as incomplete.
