MCD-2269Consistent Blue Crash Report screen on PS4 Pro
We have played game daily since launch (Tuesday 5/26). We only play 4P local co-op. Every day we have not been able to play more than 1 level before the game gives a Blue Crash Report screen. Yesterday, we even tried closing the game after completing one mission, then booted it up fresh before playing next level and it still crashed 1/2 way into that 2nd mission for day. It makes us give up for the day and try again next day. I really hope we don't get crashes today or the weekend.
Nothing extra ordinary taking place when the crashes are taking place. Sometimes in combat, sometimes just walking around exploring.
The Blue Crash Reports are not giving option to include last 10 seconds of video as I have seen for other games. This one is text report only. I have been submitting them. Hoping those are getting to the right developers and this issue can be patched, because we are otherwise enjoying the game as a family.

Hello, having the same issue here. Been playing local 2-player co-op. We've tried a few things, including turning off Boost mode and reinstalling the game. At this point we're unable to complete any level before we hit a crash.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Been playing 2 player local co-op and have had 2 crashes on PS4 in about 10 hours of gameplay.
The first one wasn't so bad, reboot the game and pick right up again.
As for the second one, the crash corrupted the character save data of my co-op partner, effectively destroying a 10 hour character progression.
I have no reproduction method for this crash, everything seemed normal as we were just playing a mission on the 'Creepy Woods' map.
Me and my gf had the same. Error code CE-34878-0
Had the crash once, fine, had the crash two, completely wiped her character. The crashes kept coming back untill i had to initialize the ps4 and remove all save files of the game. So far, we're back at pumpkin pastures, at level 15, and no crashes. Hope it stays that way
The random crashes continue to be a daily problem each time we play and we continue to let our PS4 report the problem so I hope the diagnostics are getting collected and allow patching for this very annoying problem in otherwise fun game.
In response to some of the comments here, I hope this helps that we learned to wait for the saving icon to stop spinning before adding each additional player because going too fast on it after a crash can make it give error prompt like the following screenshot.
In each case where this error was given we would go to Home menu, use Options > Close Application and reload. After reloading the game, and loading up each player slower there was no data loss.
There is another scenario where we have had irrecoverable data loss for one of our 4 players which I will report as separate bug report. The only safeguard against losing data in this game is to have USB or PS+ cloud backup that you can restore in case of data loss.

I had tried searching if problem already exists but not familiar with the tools here so ended up creating this duplicate. The other issue report you linked sounds like the same problem we continue to have every day we are playing local co-op getting random program crashes.
