Me and my gf had the same issue, CE-34878-0, had to actually initialize my PS4, and remove all the save files of the game before the crashes stopped. Atleast i think the crashes stopped... Since the restart, we've made it until level 15 with a crash, so i dont know
How did you get your progress back btw? Because my gf's character was just completely removed
Had the crash once, fine, had the crash two, completely wiped her character. The crashes kept coming back untill i had to initialize the ps4 and remove all save files of the game. So far, we're back at pumpkin pastures, at level 15, and no crashes. Hope it stays that way
I contacted the playstation support regarding this, after trying out a few of their steps and nothing worked, they refunded the game.
First I was a bit upset, I didn't want my money back, I wanted my game to work.
After sometime however, I'm glad of the outcome. I could spend my money on a game that actually works.
I refuse to buy the game again untill this problem is resolved, it's far too big of an issue to ignore when all your progress can just be wiped in an instant.

They sure have time to pump out DLC that they expect us to pay for. Really makes me question Mojangs intentions as game devs. Sure, making money is fun, but making sure that the product actually works should be #1
@Charles Pruitt
I'd hope so, it has been awhile since the launch of the game. But alas, I think Mojang is more focused on selling DLC currently, than repairing a gamebreaking bug, so who knows when they'll get around to fix it.
@Matthew M - Since it was a few months ago i don't really remember how i managed, I just know it took time and was a hassle. Basically i just went through all the methods on the playstation website, trying to dodge the bots as i went, and pressing "solution did not work" whenever, to get me one step closer to a human. Eventually i got a ticket, and i was sent an email from a human. They sent me a list of things to try, and if that didn't work i was supposed to reply. This went on for like, 3 or 4 different emails, which could be weeks apart. After i had exhausted all their methods they just refunded me my money. The key is be like a goat, stubborn as holy hell. Never surrender to the bots, always press on untill you reach the humans.
(This is not my first rodeo with trying to reach a human to represent a service)
@Colin Campbell - It's apalling! This issue has been here since release, and they've only pushed more DLC on us without actually repairing a game breaking bug.

Still not fixed, not even being commented or talked about, no replies that I'm aware of. But thank god, they are releasing more DLC that we can buy!

@Alex Shaffer
Do you still get the crashes tho, like, how often do you need to put one of these backups into play? Or does it seem fixed?
