MCD-3366Unequipping a pet artifact while the pet is spawned causes it to go into cooldown
if you have a pet artifact spawned and you unequip it, the artifact slot will go into cooldown, and you wont be able to equip anything there.

The described behavior is intentional, as to prevent exploits that allow using artifacts without having to wait for their cooldowns to expire.
Because of this, the ticket is being resolved as Works As Intended.
