I played yesterday with all my characters (5 of them) but today I go to play and everything is gone again. This happened two weeks ago and I let it slide because my characters were low and that was before the update. But now I'm genuinely upset and would love to continue playing this game without the fear of losing all of my progress.

looks like running system maintenance programs that delete junk system files are deleting Minecraft saves because they couldn't be bothered to using cloud save system...
But it's not what's causing it for me. I had tested that by playing a mission then exited and immediately ran Avast to delete junk system files, but my character was still there
