MCD-3491Score reset to an old savepoint after logout
I closed the game as normal via the in-game menu, but instead of closing I am in the middle of a level with my score from yesterday. I then closed and reopened the game and am now at the game from yesterday and lost levels and items as a result. I was most likely reset to an older resetpoint for a reason I don't know.

You might have had 2 instances of the game running - seen a comment before where someone had the same result: playing game, suspended pc, resumed later and re-launched game instead of opening the running instance, playing on in the new instance then closing game, only to find another instance running that then over-wrote the most recent save, resulting in lost progress (but at least not lost character).
