Pigs and chickens don’t spawn within the world like cows and sheep.
don’t know if this is a game dev choice or a bug no one questions. Within all levels where sheep and cows spawn one would expect pigs or chickens to spawn especially since pork is a drop for food. If this is a choice made by the developers, my mistake, however if this is a bug that no one mentions or notices then pigs and chickens don’t spawn when they should.
(TREASURE PIGS SPAWN LIKE NORMAL, this is only refuting to normal pigs)

Passive chickens (excluding chicken jockeys) and regular pigs (excluding piggybank) are not implemented mobs.
The randomised food drops from mobs is intentional (cows will drop bread and pork for instance).
This would be feature request or a suggestion rather than a bug.

Currently, there are no pig or chicken passive mobs in the game.
